chaos in my
mind
chaos in my
heart
the chaos of this poem
that can’t be taken
apart

far too shy to say
hello
it hurts too much to say
goodbye
so we float here in an in-between
just wishing we could
fly

maybe we could be
soulmates
maybe we’ll only be
friends
but it’s too early, i don’t know
exactly how this
ends

chaos in my
mind
chaos in my
heart
the chaos of my past mistakes
that’s tearing me
apart.
